Prout Manta vs Escale

What are the major differences between these two Cats?
Anyone have experience of the pro's and con's of either?
I had read about the one Prout escale with problems but seemed to be isolated to that one boat?

Not sure if this is right but the Manta is a 38' boat not built by Prout and the Escale is a 39' built by Prout. Just to clarify, when I say Manta I'm not talking about the cat that was built in Florida but the 38' cat designed by Prout.

I own an Escale. I am a retired yacht broker who may have sold a hundred different models in my career. I bought the Escale t(his year ) for one reason: The layout of the cockpit and the living areas are brilliant. I particularly love the mast position, at the leading edge of the cockpit. Reefing this boat is easier and safer than any I've sailed. If I had to choose secondary reasons they would include visibility, ventilation, and quality of construction. Add them altogether and it's the safest (but not fastest) vessel I've ever been aboard.

The Prout Manta 38 I thought was made in SA to PRout specs, not sure though, want to know whats different in bridge deck clearance, ride, etc
