I think the woodwork has all been sanded back and then given a darker stain than the original Beech veneer. Trim around doors etc done with an even darker stain. Been done by someone with far more sense of style than I possess!

Windows appear to have been re-seated. The original sealant, a Dow Corning product, did harden in the sun causing the leaks as the hull flexes slightly. Later Privileges used a better sealant.

I suspect everything has been done properly but only a survey will tell.

Just a quick update to say thanks for all the help on this thread! I made an offer after visiting the boat and basically falling for it on site and they accepted 165 in the end. A surveyor found nothing wrong and she seems totally ready for anything so here to the future of trying to live off the grid!

26 year Mercedes/Rolls Royce maintance is nightmare and you pay not maintance part by price Rols Royce you pay military jet price. everthing x 100.
i talking for car not this Privilege.
mainly problem is design is to old. hull is on end of life,all equipment is end of life .
Lagoons is not Ford, Lagoon is close to Chinese car, nice outside inside hm maybe good maybe s...
My friend buy 2000 ++ Privilege 435 i think he pay before 2 years litle more 300000€
