Re: Pantaenius and Named Storm Plan
I need to fill one out this year for Nanny Cay. Could someone please send me theirs or post as an attachment to this thread for all to use as a reference?

Re: Pantaenius and Named Storm Plan
Nanny Cay should be able to sketch out a bunch of that for you. They have lots of boats there over hurricane season every year.
They're not cheap though... I've stored the last two hurricane seasons at Penn's Landing and have been generally happy with the protection - although there wasn't a single storm in 2013. You could also check out Virgin Gorda. The've got a pretty good setup for hurricane storage.
Cheers,
Colin

Hi Jean,
Hope you are doing well.
We were wondering if it would be at all possible to get a copy of your Names Storm Plan for insurance purposes. We are about to go to survey on a vessel in North Queensland Australia and Pantaenius has requested one. We. were hoping to avoid re-inventing the wheel.
Hope you have a great afternoon.

What port in North Queensland?
If you happen to be in Cairns, Trinity Inlet, then note:
* the cyclone contingency plan of the Port of Cairns (see: https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws....-2018-19.pdf); and
* the Extreme Weather Event Contingency Plans for:
- 13 ports (including Cairns) from Innisfail to Weipa,
- Townsville,
- Mackay,
- Gladstone,
- Brisbane, and
- Gold Coast; plus
* the 'Get your boat ready for severe weather' guide, all found on the page: https://www.msq.qld.gov.au/Safety/Pr...severe-weather

If you are in a marina, such as Yacht Haven or Coral Sea Marina, talk to the management of the marina about their extreme weather event contingency plan. They should have one.
The general 'Get your boat ready for severe weather' pdf on the MSQ website should give you a non-port specific guide that you can adapt to your own vessel.
