Everything "I" expected, and big enough for "my" needs. Probably OK for a solo sailor - how about the "We " answer.

In my case, we applies to all of the above. After the short experience I had, I am personally convinced that bigger accommodation for the same length would sacrifice sailing abilities. Everything is a compromise

Haha. I’ll let you know but from what I can see from being on board a few O45s there is more interior space than our previous boat(SW1260), a lot more storage and the performance a few large steps up.
The 1260 was very comfortable for two of us plus 2-3 guests at times. The O45 will be fine.

OK, still not true !
This boat is a 55', not a 45', and you definitly twist reality.
Isolated case (I will detail), absolutely no "3 identified cases", and no court case under way. Give more details, or stop repeating these !

On the 55', during random quality controls on the first boats, we identified a risk in a carbon post built by a subcontractant, under supposely very high building stds. There were 2 spots with lamination issues, probably within safety margin, but impossible to prove.
We inspected all boats with these posts (6), and decided to replace 2 which were not within quality acceptance (probably strong enough, but don't want to take the risk).
On this boat, this was done in Canaries, technicians had to fly there, but were not allowed to board the plane with the products they need to use to install it. They used local products which were supposely same quality, but we know they were not.
After new post was laminated, mast post was slipping after the first test sail in Canaries. Back to port, with a damaged coachroof obviously.
Of course, it will be fixed with a new coachroof.
But no court case, just delayed projects for the owner !
Again, isolated case, all boats have proved carbon posts, 55's sailed a total of 450 000 nm alltogether far without issues.[/QUOTE]

Sorry what you state is wrong, the outremer was on the pontoon next to mine for several month. I know the court surveyour from Germany very well as he was also in parallel supervising the repairs on my cat for AXA insurance.
That was a court case with 3 years duration and clear production issue where the mast broke through completely. Now the whole structure was done new and a complete new roof was mounted after it was finally settled. Appoval of completed repair was done at 9.2.24 in marina puerto calero.
