Regarding the title
On Edge Sailing of this thread:
I used to sail a Hobie 14 just for fun on a lake south of
Cape Town. In a boring F2 with the
wind on the beam I would sit on the lee
hull, sheet in hard and wait for the windward
hull to rise high and then scramble uphill and happily sail on one hull, the only
boat really healing over in that
wind. But it so happened that when I sailed passed a nice bikini-clad woman on another boat I would forget the wind and .... oops! Over she went.
I guess I still hold the
record for not-much-wind capsizes on that lake!
But Phaedo looks good!
