NW Multihull Association Meeting Tuesday Oct 4, Seattle, R2AK Pedal Drive

Greetings Multihullers!

Our Northwest Multihull Association October (4th) meeting will feature a presentation on the design and construction of Ruf Duck's highly effective human propulsion system. Ruff Duck, a Farrier 31' trimaran captained by Club Member Jeff O, made a valiant effort in the last Race To Alaska.

Mechanical engineer Mike H. grew up with Jeff in Kansas. He and Jeff have been through several iterations of the pedal drive, and they will present the process they went through at our meeting.

Mike will be presenting on Zoom, but we will have a physical meeting as well with a big screen set up, at our usual venue, Puget Sound Yacht Club, at 2321 N. Northlake Way, Seattle.


The potluck will begin at 6:15pm PDT, and the meeting proper at 7:00pm PDT.
