Miami Winter

Having trouble finding a winter home for our cat in Miami. Looking for any recommendations/advice.

Some idea of what you are looking for and what trouble you are having would be helpful. There are a LOT of marinas around the Miami area, so there are a variety of choices. The only real issue is that many of them fill up with snowbirds in the winter, so you have to reserve well ahead if you are picky about where you want to be.

Yeah, apparently august is too late. haha. We're not too picky. Looking for a slip or mooring that can accomodate our boat. We don't need a ton of amenities but don't want to be battered by ship wakes either. We're 39ft x 22ft. The only spot I can find open is a mooring at Dinner Key but it seems like it's a pretty uncomfortable spot from what I read.

The problem is your looking for a place to "winter" in Miami. Miami doesn't have "winters". You have to ask for a place to "cooler" in Miami.

That's funny ... first it's in key largo , not Miami ....
And it's not like you can just pull up and stay there ...
