Re: Miami Boat Show ...

I agree with the two or three days to take it all in. I would love to meet some fellow CF's. I'll be working the Nautitech Catamaran display. Stop by and say hi.

Re: Miami Boat Show ...

I'll be heading down to Dinner Key aboard 'Island Hunter' for the show with my wife....let us know about a get-together! The show is great for multihulls, btw...and I think there will be a centerboard-equipped Oyster, for drooling on.

Anyone actively looking for a boat should consider taking a few additional days to explore the south FL brokerage market, particularly if you are coming from a cold climate.

Re: Miami Boat Show ...

We are coming in Thursday for two days. Plan on getting on every cat we can find, and some monohulls for the fun of it. Want to ask lots of questions and have lots of seminars we would like to get to. A cocktail hour CF meet up would be pretty darn cool! Leaving the boat at home or I'd offer it up for a meet and greet!

Why don't we try to set something concrete?

Saturday night CF dinner/drinks at Monty's in the grove? Or somewhere at bayside near the strictly sail show?

Re: Miami Boat Show ...

near Strictly sail would be great. We are planning on bringing the Leopard to Dinner Key
and are having some out of state CFers staying aboard with us for the show.

Remember allot of boats are sold and the owners could care less if you get on it. Last time I was there I saw some people get in arguments over removing there shoes. They still didn't get on. It just easier to wear anything easy to remove. There's allot of boats.
