The OP is 8 years old so the L45 would be the older version. Weren't some of the L47s masts shorter to make charter friendly?

FWIW the new L45 has a mast height of 70'. This is a larger (taller) and heavier boat than the old 45. It seems like the height should be higher or else it would be quite a bit slower. Maybe 70' is just the length of the stick. Or maybe it just is slower.

I’d guess that the actual rig on the new ones is a bit smaller as they are stepped much higher above the water than the original 45s. I believe the early R&C 45s and 47s had the same rig. Mast clearance for both was 71ft(just checked).
I recall taking both models under the Paradise Island bridge but you need to get the tide right.
