Exclamation Marine surveyor required

Hi all, still trying to find a marine surveyor in or around Tunisia for a cat that we want to purcahse. Any thoughts please. We have tried the yellow pages over there , no luck yet.

You may need to broaden your search outside the area and fly someone in. There are some places that you are just not going to find one.

I'm with Chuck. Flying into Tunisia is not a problem. Although, I've not been there. The CIA factbook and US State Department have no issues with travel to and from the country.

I just want to make a few suggestions: Fly in a surveyor who speaks english and is familiar with the standards in effect where you are going to base the boat. Make sure he will go up the mast to inspect everything face to face, and that he is familiar with the engines and systems installed. You will most likely not have the benefit of the boat's local reputation.
