nassau yacht haven will put you on the t-head. nice location - short walk to potter cay dock. some marine supply stores nearby. but i think the city market supermarket has been closed down...

Agree. Nassau Yacht Haven is good and convenient. Hurricane Hole on the other side can accomodate cats; good mngmnt, location is a bit inconvenient unless you're doing Atlantis. Ed

Got an email back from Michael Pinder, with Nassau Yacht Haven, and he said no availability February through July. Wow, that's hard to believe?? Any other ideas??

Re: Marina Recommendation in New Providence, Bahamas??

that stinks. you might want to try calling the other marinas in nassau. it's also possible, though not the best idea, to anchor out in the harbor. bottom is full of junk and could foul your anchor. theft is not uncommon in the anchorage either.

but, when you arrive, call the marina's again and you might find that they have room available because of no-shows on the reservation list. we did that once and found accomodation at nassau yacht haven, but it's easier with a monohull because there are more 'monohull' slips...
