There are only a few yards that can haul cats -- we've been delighted with Georgetown Yacht Basin, in the north of the bay ... quality work but a bit pricy on their labor rates ... they have a pool, and let you work on your own boat tho. ... please ask for Dave and give him our best.

...Deltaville Boatyard has now a 25' wide travelift...they were putting it in when we were in the yard for rigging work last year(we just fit in their smaller travelift)....the owner Keith and his staff are great folks and we are presently heading north to Deltaville for a haulout there to work on the rudders...

I, Sid at Sailaway Catamarans, send all my customers with cats to Pleasure Cove Marina in Pasadena Maryland. The facilities are great and the staff very helpful. Here's their web site. I sent you a PM. Hope this helps...Sid

Re: Looking for Good Boat Yard to Haul Leopard 45

Just got finished at Zahniser's Yachting Center, Solomon, MD. We are 46 x 24.2" wide. The fit was snug but those guys are all professionals. Their rates are high, but they do what they say, when they say they will do it.

I tried to warn other Cat owners in another post about another yard in this same region, NOT MENTIONED IN THIS thread SO FAR, and got banned. Just beware of $50 per hour quotes, that take three hours to do it wrong vs. $100 per hour quotes that take an hour to do it right.

I will go back to Zahniser's again if the need arises without hesitation!

By the way- their quote to pul you out includes painting your hull!
