Sailed a couple of FPs, like most of the competition where the interiors are tabbed in as a construction method, the woodwork rubs against the
fiberglass and squeaks and creaks. Many custom built cats have the interiors glassed to the
hull and so do not exhibit this as much if at all. The squeaking can be alleviated with teflon tape in the right place, if you can find the culprit. Squeaking in the
rigging at
anchor can be alleviated with silicon spray.
