My wife & I are going to quit our lives & sail around the world!!

After working 10 or 15 more years...
Anyway -- we are actually at the stage where we want to see if this whole cruising thing is something we might enjoy.
Since neither of us have any significant sailing experience, we'd like to start by chartering a
catamaran (crewed obviously) for a 3 or 4 day coastal
cruise somewhere warm w/ clear blue waters. Looking for a U.S. starting point.
If this is a success, our next venture would be a
sailing school of some sort -- then a decade or so to make some
money to support this lifestyle and get all the
kids off to college...
Anyway, the question is: any suggestions where I might find a
charter company with 44ish foot catamarans for short-term crewed charters in the US?
