Lagoon 420

We just bought a 2009 lagoon 420 and have asked the Boat dealer Mathew Dunning at Multihull where the serial number is at on the boat and have not gotten any answer. It was not on the survey either. Does anyone know where lagoon typically puts these numbers?

try the outer side of the starboard transom, either engraved in the deck or the hull. that's where I found it on all Lagoons that I have seen.

We have a Lagoon 420. The hull number is engraved on the outside of the port hull, aft just below the rub rail.

Only the hull number is engraved.

The boat serial number is more detailed and in the format:


FR- CNB 42 086 J 7 08

Country - Manufacturer - type - hull number - month (counting alphabeticallly a, Jan b, Feb) year of manufacture - model (2008)

So in our case it's a Lagoon 420 hull 86 manufactured October (J) 2007 and is a 2008 model design.
