Expectations are for Lagoon 42 to be at the boat show">Miami boat show. Several were sold at Annapolis Boat show. I am expecting delivery of mine in late summer.

I was in Annapolis looking at the 400& 450 (amongst other brands/boats), they were extremely high on the new 42 coming out. I am danger close to making a decision, but really want to see the boat in person before writing the check. Out the door loaded is in that $475k range, but that isn't delivered which is a huge cost from Lagoon. I'm sort of torn between this boat and the FP Helia (couple years old used). If I can get both boats for the same $ there are some features on the Helia I really liked, but the Lagoon is very intriguing...can't wait to see it in Miami.

I'll inspect the boat at the Düsseldorf boat show, end of January. It will have its premier there. Will keep you guys posted, if interested.

Eugene, we won't see a 42S here in Australia for some months I am very interested in the 42 S, so would be very appreciative of your comments and please plenty of pics. Regards Peter

I have a price list, if anyone is interested.

Base price for 4 cabin/4 head is $365,287
Base price for 3 cabin/3 head is $358,611

Prepackaged equipment configuration adds about $25,000 and then other options as listed.

Just FYI, My husband and I meticulously went through the price list, and only selected the minimum we would want on the boat, and our price ended up being $545,000.

Conversely, we got the pricelist for the new FP40 and compared... Building that out as closely to the same specs, and the FP40 came in $100,000 less, and with better features. I'm not sure why such a big price difference....
