Is there any Pacific North West Cat's
I'm new here and wondered if there's other PNW catamaran sailors on this board?

Re: Is there any Pacific North West Cat's
Technically I am. I live in the PNW, but unfortunately my catamaran lives in Florida. I hate these long distance relationships.

Re: Is there any Pacific North West Cat's
My good buddy for over 20 years has his Gemini moored in West Palm Beach. Actually he called me this morning and he is waiting on the weather to sail to BVI in a day or 2 weather permitting. If I weren't adding stuff to our Gemini this spring We would be crusing with him and his girlfriend for a few weeks. It's the best of 2 coasts

Where does he moor? I am moving to WPB in six weeks, and am scouting for boat spots.

Re: Is there any Pacific North West Cat's
We are spanking new Gemini 105Mc owners (a 2003 model) and have not had a chance to take the boat out sailing. We hope to do that coming Tuesday.
For the past two weekends we have been emptying out the boat, raising the waterline by more than 5 inches! The boat is near Kingston, WA

Re: Is there any Pacific North West Cat's
Jan,
Congratulations! Sounds like you bought a serious live aboard. Did you purchase your Gemini in the area?
Hopefully, we'll see you out on the water. We have a blue hull and an outboard, which makes us hard to miss for a gem.
Take care,
Rob

We're here too, also planning on leaving this fall (Mexico). Where are you heading Jan?
Hey Rob, are you still up in Bellingham? We'll be up for a week in June, Diane is planning to do a sailing course there.
Cheers
Paddy

Janet and I have a "cat and a half".
Mostly used for overnighters, daysails and summer vacations.

After experiencing -42C in Edmonton, Victoria definitely looks to me like the pacific south-west but then for most people you ar not in the south untill you are past Cape Mendocino.
Cheers

We were in the same anchorage last August at Eagle harbor on Cypris Island . That's the same week I found our Gemini 105Mc on Yacht World in San Diago and made our offer and bought it by Oct 4 last fall. We were in our MacGregor 26M at the time and your blue Gemini helped make up our minds.

Re: Is there any Pacific North West Cat's
We'll be crusing down the river from Kennewick to the Columbia river bar and up to the San Juan Islands the last of June and come back the first of Sept. I wish we could go crusing further but aprox 1200 miles will be enough for a summer cruse this year. We ( my wife and I ) own an apt complex and were on the way to get everything rented and chores caught up to take off for the hotest months here in the desert and enjoy the cool weather in the islands
instead of the 100+ temps here.
We should be easy to spot I just installed our new screecher sail with RED UV cover. and the name sv 'We Be Jammin' in RED too.
