Mine is at the back of the coach roof and I think that is the norm for Chris’s designs. The blocks on the boom are probably 2 feet forward of the clew of the mainsail. Everything works fine, just heavier than I think it could be and clearly where the traveler is bolted to the coach roof the roof is beefed up to accommodate the loads from the track.
