how many units of Coppercoat on Outremer 45?

I am going to apply coppercoat to my 2003 Outremer 45.

Was wondering if anyone has done the same to a similar catamaran and can tell me how many units they have used. I am also asking Coppercoat UK directly, but would like some user feedback on the number of units and how many layers it gave you.

I recently helped do an Oram 44. I'm pretty sure it took 18, but I'll check with the owner.

Thanks, Coppercoat UK recommends 16 units. I'll stick with that and have just confirmed the order.

It's quite a production, putting it on. I'd certainly recommend having a few helpers.

Unlike conventional antifoul, you put this stuff on in very thin coats, so it takes a while. But pot life is limited, especially in warm weather. On a day around 28'C, we needed at least 3 people on rollers to get a pack on before it started to gel.
