LOL! You are REALLY starting to annoy me.....

You are "buzzkilling" all of my favorite things!! and yet, you haven't even gotten to my personal favorite anchorage annoyance... People who assume that everyone in the anchorage wants to hear THEIR lowsey music.

Sort of what my mind was doing too I think she means Sextant. I'm not sure what sexton is but I think I know where to get some.

Sextant around 400 to 600 for a pretty good one. Astra IIB used. Tamaya + more money. There are a few good antiques WWII US or British Navy & a few Russian of unknown quality.

Drones - either go cheap or get one with a return home feature. Floating is good.

Hey Scarlet,

This seems to be an exceptional quadcopter, fully waterproof.

FPVfactory Waterproof DRONE Mariner (RTF KIT) allow to carry gopro waterproof camera

Check out the Youtube vids on it.

Re the anchor as a Christmas gift, I would wait and see what boat you end up with first, and where it is, before committing to an anchor.

But to show your love, why not sew up a Jordan series drogue for hubby?

Re: Holiday Gifts For Sailors

He'll love this: I always carry mine

Riggers with Marlin Spike | Ceramic Knife.org

And then get him a splicing set:

Annapolis Performance Sailing (APS) - APS Pro Splicing Kit

Now he'll stay busy all the time (and if you are a fifty shades of gray fan - he can tie splice and tie a set of handcuffs for you)

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

I just posted my wish list here: Aleria's Great Adventures: A Boater's Christmas Wish List

BUT I would love a drone!!!

Just be aware of the growing restrictions on drones. http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-30387107

Actually, both of those are GREAT suggestions! and we could certainly use them on our O'day...

and on the "fifty shades of grey" comment? No comment...
