Haul out list for US east coast or recommendations
I remember seeing a list a few years ago of haul out locations , anyone have that list?
I am looking for a haulout that can handle a 25.5ft beam north of North Carolina. (Insurance stipulated) Virginia or Deleware probably. If they allow you to do your own work that would be preferable.
Recommendations or that list would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Depending on the underside of your bridge deck, you may be able to be hauled on the hydraulic trailer at Chesapeake Yachts, located where the Dismal Swamp route and the Albemarle & Chesapeake canals diverge. Trailer is only 8 ft wide, if that gives your boat enough support.
Georgetown (MD) Yacht Basin has a large enough travelift.
Mine was the last boat splashed at Ocean Marine (Portsmouth VA) (using their synchro-lift) before they closed their doors two weeks ago. I was a bit worried. They could handle up to 40 ft beam, so I hope someone gets them going again.
That's all I'm aware of in this area, other than some railways.

One other place to check is the Cape Charles (VA) Yacht Center. I think they claim 26 feet, but my boat is "supposed" to be 25 ft, and just barely fit in their travelift slipway.

Nahbrown, Have you tried doing a search on the forum? Try it and use the search words "catamaran haul out yard list". It was Cotemar how put it together so you can also search for his name.

Re: Haul out list for US east coast or recommendations
I know this is far south of your area but something to keep in mind. The St Marys Boat Works in St Marys GA (just north of the Florida border) is the best boat yard on the US East Coast, in my opinion. It is up the North River and is considered a hurricane whole. You can work on your boat or the yard can perform the function. You can use all the boat yards tools, including lathes, milling machines, table saws, drill presses, and both electrical and manual hand tools. They have fuel polishers and equipment to test run your engine while on the hard. You ca live on your boat while on the hard and they have great WiFi. The can definitely handle you cat. The owner is an exceptional person and will go the extra mile to help you including a loaner vehicle, Prices are very reasonable. But don't be too surprised when you find a couple hundred boats there.

On the St. Mary's website they say the following:
Width Limit: 21’-22’ by crane; 18’ by lift

Not sure where exactly you are, but I had an excellent experience at Cracker Boys in Riviera Beach, Florida. You can live aboard on the hard and do all the work yourself. Really nice to be able to work year round on your boat. As I remember, the max beam was 25'. The current at the travel lift can be fierce at tidal changes, so the only schedule the lift during slack tide. There is a marine chandelry a short bicycle ride away. Wouldn't walk outside the gated boatyard after sunset, sketchy neighborhood.

St Marys Boat Works max crane capacity is 24K to 26K pounds. That is the limit not necessarily the width.

Then why do they put a max width limit on their website?
