Good youtube channels for cat cruising life?
Hello, I'm thinking about buying a sailboat when I retire. I have enjoyed and learned much from youtube channels such as "How to Sail Oceans," "Adventures of an Old Seadog," "DrakeParagon," and "Patrick Laine." Likeable folks who show what life cruising is like on a monohull. But I have not found one comparable channel for catamaran sailing. Can anybody point me to any?
Thanks.

A lot these channels are built to bring in non-sailors. Scenery and skin are highlighted. But some are (semi) redeeming and helpful.
This is the biggest channel. Young, attractive Aussie couple with a toddler on an Outremer. A little contrived, but the husband (Riley) occasionally gets into the gritty details of sailing.

Parlay Revival - Kiwi Captain sailing a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 with friends and family. The boat itself continues to be a challenge and will probably convince you to avoid a damaged cat if you are considering it.

Sailing Great Circle - Middle-aged Dutch couple sailing a large Lagoon primarily in the Med and later the Caribbean. No too much dialogue, but great drone footage and subtitles throughout. Believe they are moving to an Outremer.

Definitely the O'Kellys. Probably the most helpful that I have found.

Re: Good youtube channels for cat cruising life?
Catamaran Impi is an older south african couple cruising in the pacific in a lagoon.
Most channels tend to be hyper energetic because they get the views. Diving off a boom etc etc. Drake is one of the original channels but only has 35k subscribers, so any new comer probably tries to stay away from that style of filming and stick to La vagabond style of filming.
Also hard to find any High Latitude catamaran channels. Overcast skies, condensation and people shivering just doesn't get the views.

SV Happy Together - pre-retirement couple start channel on Leopard 48 then move to new Leopard 50. Great variety of content as they start in Florida and take adventures all the way to San Francisco and back to FL.

For their relate-ability, we like Sailing Nahoa, Catamaran Impi, Gone with the Wynns, The O'Kelleys, and Parlay Revival.

Re: Good youtube channels for cat cruising life?
Older? Ha ha. I'm 20 years older than those kids.
That being the case, as soon as I see bikinis, I leave. I'm looking for what it's like to live a cruising lifestyle like I might be able to do....sans bikinis :-). Plus there is no joy watching kids party. They are lightweights :-).
Points taken though. I wonder how many of the bikini channel subscribers are under 35. Most I bet.

Re: Good youtube channels for cat cruising life?
Thank you everyone! There are some great suggestions and I will check them out. Even though I spend way too much time on youtube :-).
Please keep suggestions coming.

For how to fix it: SV Impavidus is pretty good. But you need to get past the accent.
For a mix of sailing and snow skiing on a Lagoon 42: Igor Stropnik.
For buying a fixer upper: Bryan Sailing
For lots of skin, soft porn and more bikini changes per episode than any other channel: Sailing_And_Fun (they had a cat for much of their channel, although back to mono currently). Somewhat similar but with Aussie accents: Sailing Tangaroa.

Re: Good youtube channels for cat cruising life?
Actually Yihang I was mistaken. That channel is new to me, and it looks good, he throws in lots of interesting information about sailing, weather, etc. So no I'm not 20 years older than them. :-)
Thank you.

Re: Good youtube channels for cat cruising life?
I liked Sailing Nahoa as well, it was quite entertaining and useful. I have not checked their channel recently. Last video I saw from them, they were pausing the cruising to go deliver a baby... :-) Are they back on the water?
