Re: Genset Fuel Consumption
My similar Kohler 6.5 EFOZ burns roughly 0.4 liters/hour per 25% of capacity plus 0.7 liters per hour of overhead, with a small penalty if you run it near 100%. Your Onan will be very close to that or maybe exactly the same. 25% of capacity is about 1.6kW.
So running one AC unit will probably use about a liter per hour, and the compressor cycling on and off won't have much effect. In fact you might run two units without seeing a big difference in fuel consumption, because of the high overhead of this kind of genset.
Beware of running constant speed gensets all night to power air conditioning if it cools off and the a/c is mostly cycled off. They end up with polished bores that way.

Dash me with amorous wet . . . . I can repay you."
