Looks like a halyard guide... top of the mast where it goes over the roller..??
Or... a cable clip...

A feeder for a luff tape? Was it on the foredeck near the furler?

looks a lot like the pos attachment for fenders, but isnt quite right...
i have yet to find anyhting like that on either of my boats--there is very little plastic on my boats, and no fittings, fasteners, or holders are plastic on mine....bothmy boats are old, and monohulls

Re: Found this on the deck today, any idea what its off?
halyards are 1/2" rope so I don't think so, maybe a cable clip, it was near the mast so it may have come off the radar cable, not the luff guide, the bolt rope is much smaller and goes straight into the aluminium section. No cigar yet but the winner might get a special prize!

I think your pic is upside down.

If you don't know what it's for, you probably didn't need it anyway....

I would however check my mast very carefully... antenna etc...

Looks like a cheap type of T-Track endcap except for pole grip arms that extend above? What size is it?

Do you have a shower wand with flexible hose? Looks like a holder or support if you want to mount it somewhere and free up your hand - use it like a regular shower.

Re: Found this on the deck today, any idea what its off?
If there are no signs of wear or abrasion it's probably never been used - no matter what it's intended use. The single screw suggests it's application does not require much strength or resistance to rotation. I'd say it's a hanger of some type - like for the shower wand. It's concave shape suggests it would hold something tubular and the opening permits removal and replacement. Compared to the circumference of the pen, it could be 3/8" line or hose...

Re: Found this on the deck today, any idea what its off?
hmmm, interesting, well I'm in Cannes at the moment, I guess I could ask Bob Redford, maybe he will go up the mast for me as well..
size is about 40mm long, hole size is about 10mm, the rear is curved as well, as if designed to fit against a mast section (radius maybe 100mm)

Re: Found this on the deck today, any idea what its off?
One more guess. I think it is a guide for coaxial cabling between antenna and entry point to mast...
