Sent privately. Short version, not cheap, but comparable with the one from Florida, and IMO, much better.

I'd expect something for a 400 to be a lot cheaper though, much smaller area.

I am not sure that the argument of 4-corner visibility can be taken for granted.


At the Genoa boat show the other week we looked over the Leopard 45, Bali 54, FP Saona 47.


None had 4-corner visibility. The biminis have become so large that they now obscure a view of the sterns.


We were very surprised.


Contrast with the Excess range, which have twin cockpit wheels and excellent through-saloon visibility. Also, any blind corner will also be in the same place whatever manoeuver you are attempting.



Each to their own. It should not be a deal-breaker. There are may other items to consider.
