Hi,
I’ve just yesterday purchased a 1992 Ian farrier designed F 27
trimaran. It’s in really good condition and my friend and I sailed it back from Chichester marina to the Isle of Wight. It
sails really well the only problem we’ve had is that the downhaul
rope on the
Rudder assembly has become jammed against the foil and the metal housing casing. In trying to free it it has released what looks like to be a pulley on the bottom of the goil/blade which keeps it in the track.I need to obviously beach or to enable me to
repair it. Does anyone have a diagram of how it would look when it’s reassembled if I have to take it apart. They are just the two ropes one pulls down and one pulls up. They are cleated onto the tiller.
Hoping someone can help me so I can get sailing again soon?
Richard
