Electric Engines on this Cat...

If you can sail most of the time, electric motors on a cat would be ok. Lithium batteries help a lot... big solar array, two Watt&Sea Pod hydro-generators, OceanVolt with regenerative charging and a large diesel generator. It could be done with 2020 technology. Lot of $$$.... Motor into harbor, motor out of anchorage, etc. If you need to run motor for hours and hours, then generator is there... or stay where you were and wait for wind.

I'm very interested in your 144vdc diesel/hybrid setup. Do you still run with it? have you done any upgrades?

If it is not too much to ask any info you can share would be much appreciated.

In one of your post back in March 2009 "Buss Bar Question" you wrote that you have a written manual on the install of the 144vdc system, is this something you still have? can you share it? I can compensate you for costs incurred in the sharing of the manual.
