I am very much considering
buying this
boat in a few years. I plan on
buying used so in 2027 will be looking at getting a 2023/2024
boat. That being said I have not found a thread on here of Elba owners discussing this model so I am starting this thread. I would love anyone that owns or has experience with this model adding to this discussion with pros and cons of the Elba and/or of
Fountaine Pajot in general. Specifically I would like to learn about build quality as well as seaworthiness. I plan on circumnavigating the world several times over and would like to learn others experiences with heavy
weather sailing, crossings, temperature extremes (and how the boat is in those extremes), and anything else that y'all would want to discuss. I would hope this thread would become a resource for others in the future.
