Dockage for a 35ft Sail cat in Fort Lauderdale

Hi to all.
I have my folks arriving in Fort Lauderdale this April/May.
They have traveled 7500 miles since they left the East coast of South Africa.

Does anyone have a dock they are willing to rent out for a few weeks(live aboards welcome).
Most likely for June July months.
I would like to start finalizing a secure spot for them.

Regards
Shaun Smith

Hi, you can try Royale Palm Yacht Basin in Dania Beach. The number is 954-923-5900. Good Luck!!

Royale Palm is great. Come on by. No bridges and close to Port Everglades. On season rate is $20 per foot.

Marina Mile is way upriver I believe, and I doubt you will get past the fixed clearance of 55' at I-95. Sunrise is more for superyachts. The Sails could work. I am not sure about the Boathouse.

Another more common cruiser location is Las Olas City Marina. There is an anchorage off the southwest side of the bridge.

if you come through the 17th street bridge there is an anchorage up the ICW about 1 mile called LAKE SYLVIA. they will let you stay there 1 or 2 days without hassel. It is right before the marina. WATCH the depth there going around the turn there is a mile marker there and it is only 4 feet at low tide. keep a large circle around it and you will be fine.
