Surveyor said that this area under the bridgedeck, roughly 3 feet wide centered around where the hammer is located in the picture I've attached to this message failed the tap test. There are a few suspicious linear areas forward and aft of where the hammer is located.
Coming from a
monohull world, this isn't in a location where I'd expect to find
delamination commonly (well, monohulls don't have this area, but you know what I mean). The area looks to me like where a cat would commonly bash upwind, but not an area that would be at risk for direct impact in a grounding or
docking incident.
I just figured I'd get your thoughts on what you see here.
