deferred catamarans
(tongue in cheek) the threads for the last weeks or so have had a bit of angst re the mulit vs mono debate(in general), now as a teacher with a great amount of experience in being politically correct i think that rather than looking down on our one hull brethren we should now so as not to hurt their feelings refer to them as a deferred catamaran, or hull challenged hull impaired person this way we can display our understanding of their situation without hurting their feelings

Would multihull boats then be 'hull compensation'?

Well in the spirit of things (tongue in cheek), are multihull owners sailing?
Boats with training wheels? Someday we'll be good enough sailors to buy a real sailboat and learn balance and sail trim.
or Floating tennis courts? Kinda like our Winabago.
or The powerboaters sailboat? It even docks like our old Searay.
or Sailboats for the fearfull sailor? Look honey it's OK, it won't tip.
Hehe, works both ways boys.

Lets turn em all upside down for the night, and then right them the next morning. Those that wont sail fail.

Let's turn em all upside down and see which ones pop up on their own? Those that don't right on their own fail.

Sounds like an idea. Lets leave one hatch open on each boat.

They probably wear monocles, fly with one wing, ski on one plank, only ride unicycles etc. Not much hope for them I guess.

Poor Joli, he can't seem to post anything constructive on the multihull threads, it's always some dig or jab at multihull boats. Maybe he is tramatized by always wallowing in their wake. Did you get run over by a Hobie Cat when you were a kid? What's the problem?
As for the monohull sailors who are interested in catamarans would they be... bi-hull curious?
