You been aboard a 105? They’re tiny! 14’ beam ensures you can fit in a mini hull slip though- that’s good. Tankage is small for any extended cruising. BTW, $100k gets you a very nice Monohull!

We have a wildcat 350 that is more than capable to cruise the east coast, Bahamas and the Caribbean. Any that you find in the USA will have made the trip from South Africa.

Re: Cruising catamarans around $100K

I think many decent and still strong cats are in the 100 - 200 k range.

Many fewer are priced below 100k.

If you are going sailing 'in a couple of years' - why worry about this today?

No One has mentions the PDQs. Great boats, several for sale in FL.
Made in Canada by catamaran racers, morphed into a fine cruising boat. The sail cat are 32 and 36 ft.
And yes , I do have one.
Talk to a PDQer, we really love our boats!

this is an international forum so you need to give us a bit of help here !
cheers,
Strange, given that the OP stated "to and around the Bahamas and Caribbean" I would have thought that to be enough of a hint . . .

Course he COULD have meant the Caribbean that is right next to New Zealand, or the Bahamas that are just a short sail from Hong Kong . . . wait, strike that . . .
