Hi There, just thought i would throw up an option. check out www.sailpegasus.com She is a Chris White Atlantic 46lr (actually 48ft long) and has completed a family circumnav with 2 kids on board. Plenty of room, great sailing performance and good social boat. May give you an option against those old production boats.

I wouldn't say that - I would say it is a very uncensored web site where everyone gets a say. And on the contrary - he loves the boat just peeved about some of the build quality and service support.

The St. Francis 44 was made by St. Francis Marine who have been in business since 1991 and currently build the St. Francis 50.

The Mayotte 47 was made by Voyager Yachts in Cape Town, the moulds were stretched and a sharper bow added to become the Voyager 50 which is still made.

I think you'll find the Mayotte 47 was actually built by Fred Scholtz Marine in Cape Town - around the same time the original Voyage was a 40ft'ER built by Norseman before ownership changed and the company became Voyage.

We are listing our Belize 43 cat for sale. This has very good bridgedeck clearance and sails great. A long way from you but, may be a good place to start a cruise. Will take 10% less than listing price.

The Mayotte47 (Voyage) is a far better choice.
Engines are not in living area but in dedicated seperate eng rooms.
Boat can be beached or stand on keels without damaging rudders.
Has a LOT more bridgedeck clearance.
More interior head room.
Can carry more load. And and and....
Get the Voyage!!!
