Mostly geared around Snell Easy builders, but they even accept Oram and Schionning guys there. For someone building in epoxy/ply the info is perfect.

Just another word about the Wharram catamarans, the decisions on this thread seem to be trying to maximize a small boat for a family. When you compare trimarans, bridgedeck catamarans, and the Wharram catamarans (with no bridgedeck), the basic Wharram logic comes through. Why build 3 hulls instead of 2, why build a bridgedeck cabin, when that material could go into the hulls and create a longer boat, which will sail faster with its longer waterline.
Even better is to find a Wharram project boat and relieve its owner, stagnated in irons, and take it on a tack for completion.

Having sailed on a couple of Wharram's (In the smaller sizes, might not apply to the larger ones) I found the hulls cramped in comparison to other ctas of a similar size.

I also found their sailing fairly avergae, again could be more my ability, but the Simpson's as mentioned above where faster with no more effort, certainly had a lot more liveable space even in the open bridgedeck designs.

Wharram's certainly have their following, but I think some of that is more nostalgic than anything, with modern stitch and glue designs the build time and costs really don't stack that well in favour of the Wharram design, especially as over here the resale is also poor (Though that is true of most small crusing cat's... despite the huge premium the larger cat's enjoy!)

OK man, you've got to cool it, for the kids.

We never swear when we are sanding or cutting with a chisel. We always hit the nail on the head. The well organized box of 750,000 electric connectors never falls over into the bilge.

Wharram's idea is to maximize the hulls so that they are both not cramped, and not so large that rough seas won't throw you into some interior furniture. My boat is 44' and sometimes I feel like I'm in a space capsule down below. On deck, though, it's like a tennis court. I've been on a lot of cats and they all seem confined down in the hulls. If you have a big deck house, it sometimes gets in the way of getting to the mast to handle sails.

I note in your signature you say Warram Custom, Can I ask what you customised, these may be what sets yours apart from other Wharams I have been on and looked at.
