boat, do you guys think this would be a suitable singlehand performance cruiser. He's currently flying a
Catalina 320 mainsail so the rig seems not overly large, should be no problem singlehanded.
What do you all think the cost would be to fully
refit this with new hardware/rigging except use the spars if they are still sound? $20-30k? I could truck this thing home and
rebuild it in the back yard and have one hell of a boat when I'm done.

Kelsall to ask what he thinks and his feelings on if a bigger rig would even
work. I'm not sure that would be in the
budget though. I'd love to get rid of that back
cabin for extra
cockpit space and just use a tiller and put the
outboard on the transom.
I don't really think I'd be up for building a boat from scratch but this could be a little bit less of a
project while still be a very satisfying
endeavour.
