Those pictures are of two or three different boats.
Sometimes ads are just stupid.
See mocking ads on Craigslist on the interweb somewhere out there.

I think the Bums boat was a 2002 Wildcat 35. It's the same...... but different.

I'm in Boot Key if anyone is interested in it. Remember seeing it advertised in January too if I remember correctly.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
Cheap can mean different things to different folks, we should probably change the thread to "Good Buys". I think this 2006 Custom Cross 48 could qualify as a good buy:
Listings at Harris & Ellis Yachts
Canadian Dollars
Enjoy

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
I dunno about that Cross, Pat. First of all it's been for sale for over a year maybe 2. And then there's the really rustic galley cabinetry. And did you notice the water stains and Sika goop on the chainplates inside. No private berths. Is there a hot water heater or shower? No radar/AIS. And no bimini!
I'd rate that one as an average buy but not a good one.
I started this thread a million years ago and I still like the name.

Yes there are some issues and the interior is lacking all the things you mentioned, the boat is not how I would leave her, but you'd be hard pressed to build a 48' Cross Tri for 81K, U.S. dollars, with the engine and all the features and sails she does have. The bones are there the other stuff could be done even while living aboard, so for that reason I think she is a good buy. I suspect she could be had for below 81K.
