Neither. Just a dreamer at this point.
Saw the link from the YW ad had more pics, so I thought to pass it along to those that were asking about the inside.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
You would not have to go via SA and Carib. Apparently the Gulf authorities are forming convoys of vessels to go thru the Aden narrows and up the Gulf to avoid Somali pirates, and as a result, piracy has dropped virtually to zero in the area.

That's one hell of a slog from Mayotte, not foregoing the pirate issues. You have to beat against the NW trades to get favourable winds in the Gulf of Aden or you have to wait for the SW monsoon and then fight the winds in the Gulf of Aden.
The Red Sea route is only really doable from the east.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
Another place that's has relatively cheaper boats is Panama. It's for the same reasons as Mayotte, it's hard to get outta there unless you want to go west. They say "Panama is where boats go to die"

It was my boat, I paid 35k 10 years ago for her, and I sold her at a huge loss. I would love to buy her back for 15k, of course the engine is gone, there are sails missing, as well as the oven.
There is a small storage bill, and the cradle is damaged , so, it will take a crane to launch, around 4k?.
She is a incredible cruising tri, built light by a good builder, he owned Noah's, a boat building supply store.
She is the best deal in the US, for a foam core, open wing, cruising tri.
I don't know why the current owner doesn't make a deal with anyone, he doesn't want her, and needs the money.
Set her free

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
The biggest issue with that tri is it's in Maine and it's kinda cold up there right now although LongJohn might consider that the tropics.
