1987 Gemini Sailing Cat $14,500
“CURRENT PRICE” IS A GUIDE. ALL OFFERS RESPECTFULLY CONSIDERED.
Tracys Landing, MD
Actual Condition
This Gemini is suffering from a bit of neglect. An open hatch for an extended period had allowed rain water to enter the boat. The sub-floor and cabin sole in the port and stbd hull have been damaged by water and will need repairs. The boat also needs general clean up and overall servicing from sitting. The hull and decks appear sound and she is a great platform. She had updates in 2013 that included a 9.9 Yamaha long shaft, electric head, and new electric panels. This is a worth-while project. Take a look and make your bid!

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
The SR 37 sold to an Australian in 2019 and did do a trip from the panhandle to the Bahamas and apparently back. He’d planned to sail back to Australia with a fairly large crew. Must be back at Stu’s dock in Gulfbreeze.

1992 Dean Oceanliner $20,000
Here's an older Dean for only $20,000 in Texas. The specs say it's about 36.5' and "needs some attention".

The #2 post sums it up pretty well.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
If it isn't too far gone then $20,000 for that Dean might be worth it despite it's deficiencies.

Didn’t Sailing Lady Africa (YT) do up one of those Deans? IIRC they then added a whole lot more weight to the back with that swim platform....

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
From my research on these Dean Cats, any you find in the US have made at least one ocean crossing. Not a fast cat but that is not what it was designed for.

Yes, if I recall correctly they have a reputation of being a solid blue water cruiser.

A really genuine, upbeat, and positive couple, but if you watch their last video of reflection, you are left feeling perhaps a little less upbeat about some of the choices they made.

Really??? Other people's criteria seem to be somewhat different from mine. I would suspect that few people (if anybody) attempt an ocean crossing twice in one.....
