Yes, in a blow things could get a little hairy.

It's actually a quarter partnership. Three shares of which are for sale with the owner retaining one.

The normal initial asking price for a Tiki 38 seems to be in the 50,000 - 70,000 euros range, condition dependant.

Lucky Fish is a little bit special, well built, nicely finished, very good pod, and quite a lot of (expensive) gear. Ready to circumnavigate for the most part I believe.

Plus some cache from the popular YouTube channel, if that really adds any value.

But I don't think it would ever sell for 120,000 USD in total. Still that's a starting price based on the shared ownership, and it does say "I will consider outright sale".

However the quarter share at that price, but also with the sharing of overall maintenance and other related expenses too, may still be attractive and useful to someone who only wants to cruise part time and mitigate some of the costs of 100% ownership.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

I've seen many large Multihull designs by Richard Woods & Kurt Hughes & James Wharram {Eclipse & D32 Tri ,Tiki 38}, all recommend use of clear Douglas Fir as options as well as clear Sitka Spruce ,Mahogany etc for stringers and Bulk Heads which assume is meant by Frames ,you don't want heavy white Oak frames on a multi ,agree drop a zeroe $....

True. John Marples and Jim Brown also recommended using Fir for economy builds instead of the much more expensive (and lighter) Spruce.

Im sorely tempted! I can see it needs some considerable work, but I think this is one of the nicest cats ever built

52' CSK

$135,000 in Fla. I'm not sure if this really fits the criteria for this thread but it is a 52' cat for a reasonable price.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

Sure looks bad but it looks like it may be a CSK. Be nice to see some other photos.

Where did you get that info? Any knowledge of the designer?
