Technically no.
You might get a friendly customs officer on a good day right before their shift is ending (I have heard stories of fairly lenient/lucky imports- but haven't experienced that myself). Probably not worth taking the chance. You can always call us customs (the port of entry you will be crossing) ahead of time and ask.. if you get the answer you are hoping for get the officer's name and attempt to get it in writing or something...
If you're already hauling it on a flatbed just build a cradle, or remove tongue and axles (leave behind, ship, or haul in an entirely separate vehicle as parts) from trailer- hopefully you can use that cradle with another "yard" trailer

This was checked out by a knowledgeable multihull builder as is reported to be very well built. The cost of the boat is just to cover moving costs to navigable waters. It would be a shame to see this one scrapped as the deceased owner put 25 years into building it. Would make an awesome cruising boat. The designer, Aussie Roger Simpson, is well thought of down under. Great opportunity for someone.

This boat made it's way down a closed Rt. 128 at 2:30 AM this morning. Hit the water for the first time at 10:30. Good article in the Salem news.

Maybe not cheap but a project
Located in Pacific NW. 48' trimaran. Anybody know what kind she is?

8ft home built trimaran world veteran
This is a barn find in very good shape. I have gone through the boat and am surprised at how well preserved the epoxy has kept the wood. All chainplates are tight and no leaks anywhere. The gentleman who showed me the boat used terms like "bone dry" and "never a drop of water inside". Anyway 100% and 150%, 1 main, looks like 2 mizzens.
Sleeps 9, 4 double bunks in the main hull, and 1 quarter berth in the starboard hull w/ sail storage. 6ft 3in cabin
Head in the port hull w/fishing and maintenance gear.
Newer fuel tank
This boat is perfect for a large family or rig it for world travel.
I have a 3 cyl yanmar diesel and transmission for the boat (used, not installed)

Everett tri
It's interesting that the 48' tri is in the Portland Craigslist instead of the Seattle site. The text says it's in Everett. Portland is 200 miles from Everett while Seattle is only 30 miles away and you have to drive through Seattle to get to Portland from Everett.
Someone posted a thread here about looking for ways to sell a large tri that was in the Sound (Olympia?). I wonder if this is it?
Don't know what it is but looks kinda like Piver/Horstman clone. Those canoe sterns are unique. I did a double take because I thought that might have been the front because there's no boom on that mast.

That was me. Different trimaran. The Norm Cross 48' is in Olympia and I believe still not listed. I have not seen the boat but I have the owners contact info. PM me if anyone is interested.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
The 48 tri was posted for free on Seattle craigslist a month or two ago after previous owner trying to sell it on & off at similar high prices. "Piver type" is my uneducated guess as well, either plans modified extensively or designed by builder/etc. It doesn't resemble any 40-45-ish Horstman except for perhaps the fact of using the amas for accommodation

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
That 48' tri's ad in Portland/Everett was deleted a few days ago. Did it sell or was there something else going on?
