I want to do our European friends a solid (and for those colonials with ample time and frequent flier miles) a solid by point out this swedish Iroquois that seems to be selling for much lower than US Iroquois. https://m.blocket.se/stockholm/Segel...2_74955750.htm

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

Also, do any long-term followers of this thread have a sense of which US states or metro areas have consistently had the best deals on multis? For instance, we've often pointed to CA as an example as multi owners who want to sell are in a rush to sell due to high slip fees ... The Chesapeake seems to have fewer deals

Appears to be HEAVILY modified, in both design and added weight. Chopped of the salon cabin top and made her an open bridgedeck design?

I think more like a heavenly twins center cockpit design, rather than a wharram-like expanse from the beams.

Definitely modified, but reportedly done professionally, with plans drawn up and work carried out by a yard rather than a more homebuilt thing. Apparently was in the owners association magazine to show off the changes

Owner is advertising on the Iroquois Facebook group.

As I remember, we never saw any interior pics of the Flyin' Hawaiian either.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

At least this tri has lasted nearly 50 years already, as opposed to the Flyin' Hawaiian's tragically short life. . . .

I just emailed the seller through CL to ask if he could add interior pics to his ad.

Sigh . . . I miss the Flyin' Hawaiian! Just for old times' sake:

Looked at that corinthian. It had a lot of rotten core and soft decks. It is a project.

That one could be a diamond in the rough. Or at least a cubic zirconia!

Check the foils carefully.

I saw my buddy's 198x MAC 36 hauling butt on the river Saturday...
