Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
I wonder what's left to do on the Marples. At any rate, that's quite a bargain.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
Hello everyone!
Im new to this forum but stumbled upon this thread when looking for abandoned/discontinued catamaran projects.
So, i thought I might get some help trough here.
Were an marine conservation NGO looking for a monohull in steel or fiberglass over 47ft at a cheap price but completely let down/in need of co plete strip down and refit or a 39 or bigger catamaran in the same state as we are marine technicians and can save a lot on costs by bringing a cheap hull back to life.
Were able to travel to anywhere in the states, caribbean, central america or Europe so, if you know of anything that might be interesting please let me know as the ads that have been posted on this thread are all sold already or at least not available anymore.
Kind regards,
Isaak

It would be wise to spell out any specific must have features of a candidate boat. Along with budget. And putting a wanted ad in the boats F-S section.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
I love it when this thread pops up. I'd love to get my hands on that Corsair, but it's a little too far away. (Doesn't the interior kinda look like a 31'? It looks like it has the forward enclosed head, wasn't that only on the 31'?)
Also, did anyone see the Horstmann for sale in the classifieds for $15k?

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
I'm not afraid of projects...actually both of my multi's are projects...but I wouldn't touch that F27 with a 10 foot pole...that Horstman on the other hand looks great...I would wonder why so cheap...what the project aspects are...ie: what are the issues...since the above water 7/8 looks so good...guessing there are hull issues...be worth it to haul and see...

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
