Chase boat

Im looking for a Multihull to have as a chase boat for my Guinness World record attempt to paddle board across the Gulf of Mexico. The journey will be from Corpus Christi Texas to Keywest Florida. in addition, this will be a fund raising event for Katie Courics Cancer foundation (Stand up to Cancer) We will help with fuel cost and provisions. between slogging against the prevailing wind and then dealing with visits from a friendly northerner to the potential washing machine conditions with 9+ foot seas in your face while stuck in the loop current on a paddleboard...

what is the current offshore experience on a paddleboard?(ie have you already done the carib islands or even between habana to key west)


i can see a world class talent like kai lenny making a 90 mile day (foiling on a SUP..with pacific swell following him).. but to do that every day..for 10-15 days would be hellava impressive.



but expecting to go from corpus to key west...against the prevailing wind..
well..
i'm curious to see the logistics of this crossing..



assuming survival... id' guess 30 days min... unless the plan is basically to motor on someone else's catamaran the whole way.. and then do the photoshoots with the SUP on those calm days for instagram.

btw,
imo your best bet might be to purchase/outfit your own catamaran so you can then volunteer your own boat for your fund raiser/record attempt.
