Catamaran sailor kidnaps his 3 kids

This just goes to show you what a dastardley bunch all catamaran sailors are.
Just kidding.
I'm posting this on the multihull section because on the news last night they had a picture of the boat and I think it was a cat but it was hard to tell. Could have been a tri and you know that those guys area nefarious bunch.
Just kidding, again.
I had met one of these kids a couple of years ago when my friends kid brought him over for a summer barbeque at my house. My friends kid has already talked to the kidnapee and they actually had some fun on the boat with dad. I don't think they will be spending much time with him in the future. LOL.
I'd like to see pics of the boat. Anybody?

Re: Catamaran sailor kidnaps his 3 kids

It seems to me that most 12, 13 or 15 year olds could jump ship pretty easily if they wanted to.

So sad to hear how adults act.

Deja vu all over again

"Sterling Hayden often professed distaste for film acting, claiming he did it mainly to pay for his ships and voyages. In 1958, after a bitter divorce, he was awarded custody of his children. He defied a court order and sailed to Tahiti with all four children, Christian, Dana, Gretchen and Matthew."[

And I don't think it was a multi, since within a half-mile of Bahamian waters the Coast Guard caught up with them, had it be a multi, he would have made it past the line. lol

statistically most kidnappings involve the non-custodial parent.
same crime - same police/fed action.
caveat pater

Re: Catamaran sailor kidnaps his 3 kids

That boat which is a Catalac 12M is for sale now on Tropic Cat's site. It's aptly named Lunacy. Might be a good deal, too.

Never have HS as a guest Salty.. untidy buga's.. and no sense of humour..
However.. an excellent opportunity for someone who's looking for a brick shithouse.. easy boats to work on..
