Broker recommendations Washington state

I have an acquaintance who owns a 1980 Norm Cross 48' trimaran docked in Olympia Wa.. He wants to sell it but is unable to show it (he lives in a different state). I have never seen the boat myself but told him that I would ask on the forum for a broker recommendation. Thanks.

Canadian based, but one of the best west coast brokers with agents up and down the coast. Best broker and agent I've ever deal with.

The OP stated that the boat was in a different area, not near anybody that can show it which is why he wants a broker.

A broker will deal with all the tire kickers and dreamers, handle the paperwork etc.

There are lots of reasons to use a broker and for some, no reason.

Re: Broker recommendations Washington state

A few people bring their boats here to Portland, where there is no sales tax, and then the new owner can prep the boat here with tax-free supplies and service before leaving. Of course it is possible to do the paperwork in Washington to not pay the tax if the owner doesn't live there but it is more work and cost. It is not for everyone - just a possibility. Also, if registered in Oregon (as primary use state) the annual fees are a fraction of Washington. If a broker is desired here I recommend Mike at Passion Yachts.
