Bow Seat - how many would install this option?

Hello all -

I have a company that will build me two bow seats at a very good price. For those who have them - do you use them? If so - is there anything you would change about them?

Even though I can get these at a good price doesn't mean they are worth it....! I'd like to hear your opinions.

My bow seats are a very popular location in sheltered waters. Especially for dolphin watching

We use the bow seats all the time

When on autopilot its the best seat in the boat.

Our guest love to sit there also.

Just make sure not to make the seats from teak.
Use Starboard so you will never have to worry about maintaining them again.

no bow seat on my boat-- i have wood sprit..and a lovely sittable forehatch. genoa fits at the very forward end of my sprit so no room for a seat.
HOWEVER, lying on sprit taking pix while boat is automatically piloting self in calm waters is a lot of fun.

Had them on my Venezia 42, loved but made access to the bow cleats difficult.

That's why we added Bow Cleats ahead of the standard cleats.

Highly recommended. I love it, and almost all of my guests loved it. Some had a blast on that seat.
It's a "must have".

Re: Bow Seat - how many would install this option?

We called ours the best seat in the house, until we got a cushion made for it. The Southern Bell who made the cushion had a hard time with my northern accent and when it was ready she called me and said,"I have your Betsy seat cushion ready". So now we call it the Betsy seat.

Two came with our 45ft. Leopard. Everyone enjoys them on nice days. On 7ft. waves and 33 knot head winds not at all! Have a nice day.
