Thanks for the recommendation. We are in Vero beach at the moment heading south so will look them up on the way down.

Thanks for the info. It looks like we have a 55ft bridge to get there which is a problem as we have a 63 ft air draft. Am I wrong with the bridge height?

A lot of Canadians keep their boat's on the hard in Green Cove Springs, FL. A great place with little concern for hurricanes.

I heard that you have to have the mast down to be hauled out there cause the hoist has a double cross beam? Is this right?

You would have to have your mast pulled to be able to make it under the bridges to get to Green Cove Springs.

If you want to call them the number is (772) 597-2455
Isnt there a 55ft bridge you need to get under?

Too expensive and workmanship not satisfactory.
Somethings never change, had crappy work from both their diesel pro, and their glass guy 5 years ago.

Green Cove Springs Marina near Jacksonville, can only accommodate cats with narrow beam. Travel lift can get up to almost 16'.

St Augustine Marine Centre isn't even a great place to store. It looks good at first but our boat looked like it aged 2 years in the 3 months we left it there. They do a lot of sandblasting and make little effort at containment. As a result any boats downwind are covered in blasting media and anti foul etc. Not a fan of the centre lift either, saw at least 2 boats damaged by it.

No you can get a 64 ft mast to GCS but the Travelift hasn't go the beam for big cats.

Holland marine in Green Cove can do like a 40' beam but mast has to be down to get into the lift. He (literally) has a hacksaw handy to expedite that.

St marys boat services uses a large crane with a craddle, good hurricane hole and no bridges. They are a diy yard if needed.
