If
money is no object, and you are not sailing with many people, then the Dragonfly 1200 gets my vote. Yes, technically it's a
trimaran, not a cat (but still a multihull):

If
money is a consideration, and and you are sailing with no more than 2 people, then the FP
Mahe 36 mentioned earlier, or the
Gemini 105 are not bad choices either. I would be wary of the newer
Gemini Legacy 35 for
water sailing">blue
water sailing because they simply made the 105 even longer, and the L-W ratio doesn't look good for stability. But I could be very wrong, that's just what it looks like.
With a small
family of four though, my choice would be the
Leopard 39. It has a pretty good balance all around. The
Lagoon 380 is probably just as good, but not as stylish...
