Autopilot upgrade for 46 cat

Merry Christmass to all! Advise needed: I'm bying a used cat. She has almost all we need. But,surveyor paid attention, that existing AP(Raymarine 6002) drive is connected to the helm steering system. He advised to install a ram steering,in order to have emergency steering with AP,if the helm wire will give up...Appreciating this advise(especially, due to,when I asked the owner if she's got emergency tiller? He answered:" yes, she's got one,but nobody knows where...") I considered, that it will be better to have a complete reserve autopilot with own steering..and, if the budget will afford, I'd like to have one with TAck option and remote. My questions are:
1). If any maker combine Tack/turn with remote? So far, I found only Raymarine wireless remote on the web,but don't see Turn button on P70 head.
In contrary, Simrad,Navman - no remote...
2). Evolution "Sea-talk" unit for a cat...where to install? Hope not need one for every hull?
3). if it -Sea-talk- really helps to adjust the boat to conditions of the sea?
Once again,Merry Christmass and Happy New Year!
Vladimir

You don't mention what model RM course compute you have, but you may be able to put a Type 1/2 linear drive on a rudder and salvage both the course computer and control head.

it said "Raymarine Smart Pilot 6002" so, must be controller ST6002. This is what exist and, so far, works well via helm steering system. My idea is, that If I'll go to install linear steering, maybe make sense to add another AP, not connect to existing one.
