I think they already made it, but turned to Starboard coming in and went to the northern docks which is out of camera.

Errr...........sorry to intrude on the birth berth of the cat but how does one contaminate water when in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?

Really? That's highly insulting for you to assume the only purpose of a female crew was to provide sexual favors.

That would be a good answer to learn.

Only a guess. Maybe was bad from the start and the passage stirred up some contaminants? A silly guess peed over the side while the fill cap was open in the middle of a squall? Or could sea water get in for not being sealed or a failed seal?

wondering around with no destionation

Drinking water can get contaminated by salt water getting in from bad seals in the fill cap. Not enough bleach added when tanks where first filled. Tanks not used for some time before the trip and they had bad water in there to start with and contaminated all the fresh water put in at Miami Florida.

a) Some have had unfortunate experiences with plumbing fresh water to their heads, for fresh water flushing...where either sea water or waste water contaminates the fresh water supply...
b) Leaks in water tanks that allow bilge water, sea water, etc. to ingress / contaminate the fresh water tanks...
c) Water pressure pump leaks, diaphragm contamination, etc...
d) Just old / funky / molding water in tanks and/or contaminates dislodged by the never-ending motion of the sea, making the water in the tanks "funky"...
e) Leaky filler caps, etc...

Those are just the ones off the top of my head....while I'm helping my 93 yr old Mom....

Fair winds...
